Age Requirement: 17+ — WhatFlick is rated 17+ and is intended for users aged 17 and older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 17 years of age, or that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

By downloading, installing, or using WhatFlick (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the App. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the App.

2. Description of Service

WhatFlick is an AI-powered film and television identification app. Users may submit links from YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, and similar platforms to identify the film or TV show depicted in a clip. The App uses Anthropic's Claude AI to analyze submitted links and return identification results.

WhatFlick is currently in development. Features and availability are subject to change without notice.

WhatFlick uses artificial intelligence to identify films and TV shows. AI-generated results may not always be accurate, complete, or current. Jacaranda Labs makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of identification results.

You should independently verify any information provided by the App before relying on it. Results are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and technology comprising the WhatFlick App is the intellectual property of Jacaranda Labs and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Third-Party Content and Links

WhatFlick processes links from third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, etc.). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party platform or the content hosted therein. Use of third-party platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

Your use of WhatFlick is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

WhatFlick is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Jacaranda Labs does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jacaranda Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Changes to These Terms

Jacaranda Labs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
